Abstract: A box-type turkey caller has an actuator with at least one scalloped edge, enabling the actuator to be moved against the box with a measured rhythm to simulate the sound of a turkey purr.

Abstract: This box type turkey call features a laterally moved actuator contacting the sides of a box. The actuator is mounted on a rotatable mounting. Attachment is eccentric on the mount. The mount, on the opposite surface, is slotted to accept a tool to affect movement of the attachment as the mount is rotated. This movement of the point of attachment enables this box call to produce a variety of different calls, each of which may be finely tuned, and to compensate for wear.

Abstract: A turkey caller comprising a body portion with a removable mouthpiece connected in an airtight manner to one end and a trumpet reciprocably mounted on the other end of the body portion. A plurality of axially aligned passageways extend through the mouthpiece, body portion, and trumpet with the passageway in the trumpet being the largest in diameter and the other passageways being successively smaller as they extend in communication with each other through the trumpet, body portion, and mouthpiece. Air is sucked into the trumpet to produce sounds simulating wild game, such as turkeys.
