  • Patent number: 6980216
Abstract: A graphics driver and method is provided that facilitates graphics rendering time partitioning to provide improved resource allocation between multiple windows and/or multiple graphics clients. The graphics driver receives high level graphics data from multiple graphics clients and outputs a time-partitioned chain of graphics primitives to the graphics processor. The graphics driver includes a partitioning controller, a graphics translator, and a chain builder. The partitioning controller allocates processing time among the multiple graphics clients, with each of the multiple graphics clients being allocated a periodic budget. The graphics translator translates high level graphics commands received from the graphics clients into graphics primitives that can be processed by the graphics processor. The chain builder creates chains of the graphics primitives that are configured to give each graphics client its associated periodic budget in the graphics processor.

  • Patent number: 6834583
Abstract: A stencil screen with a desired pattern to be imprinted is supported on a stencil screen frame. The frame has upstanding elongated sidewalls joined by spaced apart end walls to circumscribe a screen window opening. The stencil screen has sufficient strength transversely to plane of the screen to allow deflection from the plane of the screen without elastic deformation. The stresses produced by the deflection of the screen produce repeated flexing of fatigue resistant and resilient screen frame sidewalls and screen support arms at opposite end of these side walls by the provision of sufficient resiliency to restore the stencil screen to a stencil screen support plane.

  • Patent number: 6228088
Abstract: A method and device for use in delivering or withdrawing fluid to or from the vascular system of bone marrow, wherein a tubular conduit is inserted into bone and fluid is delivered or withdrawn to or from a reservoir through a seal means surrounding a head attached to one end of the conduit in communication with bone marrow at the opposite end of the conduit. Access to bone marrow is achieved by implanting an improved intramedullary catheter of the present device within a bone and creating a reusable passage via a conduit placed between bone marrow and the outer surface of bone or skin.

  • Patent number: 5451210
Abstract: A rapid vascular drug delivery device, system and method is provided having a releasibly extending and retracting needle necessary for injecting and withdrawing fluid into and from a physiological or non-physiological cavity. Accordingly, the needle can be releasibly extended with sufficient momentum at a point of impact to penetrate a hard substance such as bone. The needle is slideably placed within an aperture configured at the forward end of a main housing, wherein a trigger needle can be arranged proximate to the forward end in order to detect tissue thickness or bone depth necessary for ensuring accurate placement of the bone-piercing needle within the bone marrow. The needle can receive fluids interspersed by parallel-placed or series-placed fluid containers configured within the main housing.

  • Patent number: 5279221
Abstract: A composite stencil screen assembly including a uniformly-prestressed resilient backing screen attached to a frame and a metallic wire mesh stencil screen attached to the backing screen. A predetermined portion of the backing screen is removed after the stencil screen is attached thereto in order to permit the pre-stressing force in the backing screen to uniformly pre-stress the stencil screen in all directions to impart a tight, wrinkle-free, high-quality printing surface to the stencil screen. In a preferred embodiment, the assembly is retensioned subsequent to removal of the predetermined portion of the backing screen. The composite construction is uncomplicated in design, resists metal fatigue of the wire mesh stencil screen, is effectively used in non-thermally dependent and thermally dependent printing operations, and has a long service life.
