    Abstract: An improved cutting device with an integrated and interruptible auxiliary power supply. In a preferred embodiment, the improved cutting device is a miter saw having a trigger mechanism for controlling a cutting implement, and at least one 120V or 240V auxiliary power outlet. Electrical power is only provided to the cutting implement and the auxiliary power outlet when the triggering or a similar mechanism is activated, and the release of the triggering mechanism by the user automatically shuts off electrical power to both the cutting implement and the at least one auxiliary power outlet. The auxiliary power outlet is useful for powering any number of different accessories including, without limitation, a light, vacuum source, etc., and is repositionable.
