    Abstract: A blood sampling and infusion chamber including blood entry and exit ports contoured to accept standard cannula tips for connection in series with the flow of blood through a patient's veins or arteries and a self-sealing cover-block which permits repeated access to the blood flowing through the chamber, the access being accomplished by means of a standard hypodermic needle passing through the self-sealing cover-block.
