Abstract: A recreational vehicle such as a truck camper is shown with a modular design of a multi-sided awning comprising at least two separate awning panels. One edge of each panel is adapted to be supported on one side of the camper at the roof line. One awning panel has an extension of the size of the other awning panel to form an L-shaped awning. A zipper fastens the coextensive edges of the two panels together to form a unitary awning. A third panel may be added on the other side to form a U-shaped awning. The addition of a fourth panel at the front would provide an awning completely encircling the vehicle.
