  • Publication number: 20100014950
Abstract: A parking garage sub-module includes at least one parking pod, the parking pod including a first column, a second column, and a third column. Each parking pod includes a plurality of parking slots, wherein each of the first column, the second column and the third column each include a plurality of parking slots and wherein each slot includes at least one tilting platform associated therewith. Further, at least one of the parking slots associated with the second column includes at least one transfer slot, the transfer slot including at least one transfer platform configured to move first and second ends between raised and lowered positions to exchange trays between adjacent parking slots and to shift trays parallel to an axis about which the transfer platform rotates to move between the raised and lowered positions.

  • Publication number: 20090029803
Abstract: An angled hitting stand apparatus for training users to hit baseballs or softballs. Telescoping elongated members, e.g., posts, cylindrical tubes, or solid rods, provide support for the ball and are adjustable for accommodating the height and arm length of a user. The elongated members can be pivoted, i.e., moved back and forth, for arm or hand dominance, e.g., right-handed, left-handed, or ambidextrous hitters, to at various angles. The elongated members or posts are secured to an adapter, e.g., a cylindrical, pre-cut housing, that fits into a cap. The cap is secured to a base which is capable of supporting the apparatus. The angled presentation of the ball on the apparatus provides a proper swinging condition to the user by ergonomically encouraging the user to be properly disposed in relation to a swing slot region in order to make a correct swing without casting the user's hands during the swing.

  • Publication number: 20020066611
Abstract: This invention is an apparatus for increasing motorcycle riding comfort. It is particularly designed for use with Harley Davidson SofTail motorcycles. The engine and transmission are mounted on a main engine mount of the present invention which is attached to a pair of main engine vibration isolators which are bolted to an engine base plate. The engine base plate is welded to the bottom of the frame. The main engine vibration isolators allow longitudinal rocking of the engine and transmission while minimizing energy transfer to the frame. A front engine vibration isolator is affixed between a front engine anchor bracket, which is bolted to the engine, and a front engine mount bracket, which is welded to the front of the frame. This provides additional support to the engine while allowing the engine to rock with minimal energy transfer to the frame. A front hyme and a top hyme provide for obtaining and maintaining proper alinement of the engine and transmission.
