Abstract: A retractable and collapsible pet stool that is slidable across the floor. In the “two step” embodiment, which can be increased to three or four steps or more, a first step is provided that is supported on three sides by support members of substantially of equal length to provide a substantially horizontal first step. A second step is provided that is supported on three sides by support members of substantially of equal length to provide a substantially horizontal second step. The support members of the second step are sufficiently shorter than the support members for the first step to permit the second step to selectively slide under and be removed from under the first step. The steps are detachable from each other to permit placement in different areas of the premises.
