Patent number: 7315659Abstract: Methods for generating composite images are disclosed. A first image is selected via a Web interface presented on a browser and a second image is selected via a Web interface presented on the browser. The selection of the first image and the second image is communicated to a server via a network. A composite image is automatically generated, which includes filtering to simulate an appearance of the second image as applied to the first image according to a manufacturing process associated with a filter selection. If applicable, an embroidery price of the composite image is automatically calculated, the embroidery price comprising an estimated price for the application of a design represented by the second image to a product represented by the first image. The composite image, along with the calculated embroidery price (if applicable), is communicated from the server to the browser via the network.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2004Date of Patent: January 1, 2008Assignee: Branders.com, Inc.Inventors: Larry Lunetta, Eliott Jones, Criss Harms, Gerald McLaughlin, David Sipes

Patent number: 7302114Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for generating composite images are disclosed. A first image is selected via a Web interface presented on a browser and a second image is selected via a Web interface presented on the browser. The second image is positioned relative to the first image to generate relative positioning information. The selection of the first image and the second image and the relative positioning information is communicated to a sever via a network and a composite image is generated at the server. The composite image is communicated from the server to the browser via the network.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2001Date of Patent: November 27, 2007Assignee: Branders.com, Inc.Inventors: Larry Lunetta, Eliott Jones

Publication number: 20070192210Abstract: A computer-implemented method to price a promotional product includes the generation of a user interface that facilitates input of specification information concerning the promotional product, the specification information including product information identifying a base product to be decorated and decoration manufacturing process information identifying a process whereby a decoration is applied to the base product. The specification information concerning the promotional product is received, and a price for the promotional product is automatically calculated utilizing the product information and the decoration manufacturing process information. The user interface further provides a visual representation of the promotional product having the decoration applied thereto and according to the decoration manufacturing process.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2007Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventors: Larry Lunetta, Eliott Jones, Satyanarayan Belur, Gerald McLaughlin

Patent number: 7236647Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for generating composite images are disclosed. The composite image, which includes warping to simulate curvature of the second image as applied to the first image, is communicated from the server to the browser via the network.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2004Date of Patent: June 26, 2007Assignee: Branders.com, Inc.Inventors: Larry Lunetta, Eliott Jones, Criss Harms, Gerald McLaughlin, David Sipes
