  • Patent number: 12278489
Abstract: The present invention provides a system designed to prevent overload and blackout in utility distribution transformers within a local power grid. It includes a utility distribution transformer, users, and a local storage battery, all coordinated through utility load balancing. A temperature-sensing module monitors real-time heat variations, while an electrical output-sensing module tracks and calculates demand. Data from these modules is stored in a database for historical and real-time analysis. An integrated analysis module processes this data to detect decreases in transformer output power. Upon detection, the system discharges energy from the local storage battery to balance the load. Additionally, if a decrease in output power occurs alongside rising temperature, the system alerts the utility service provider to address potential issues and prevent failures.

  • Publication number: 20240287392
Abstract: A system for refining crude oil to minimize emissions of toxic compounds in the atmosphere during refining. The crude oil is treated with viscosity-reductant additives, reducing viscosity by up to 50% and increasing API gravity by more than 2 points. The method of spray-cracking and vacuum-flashing of crude oil, the system separates light and heavy end chains within the reactor. The vapor is condensed into designer fuels using a multi-stage horizontal reverse condensate-condenser or closed-loop distillation tower. Process heater directs flue gases through high-salinity fluids, such as a brine-processing device to capture, sequester, or mineralize the CO2, CO, NOx, and other contaminants from the flue gases. This results in a significant reduction in emissions, a further reduction to near-zero emissions (>95-98%) is achieved by the combination of (1) the closed loop processes, tank blanketing and capturing, sequestering and mineralizing emitted flue gases from the heater combustion-exhaust.

  • Patent number: 12042763
Abstract: The invention relates to a carbon-sequestering desalination brine waste processing system comprising a carbon sequestration system and a plurality of brine removal system for a desalinization plant. The carbon sequestration system is configured to receive brine from a brine source and inject at least one of CO2 or CO into the brine to provide carbon sequestrated brine. The plurality of brine removal systems are connected in series or parallel and sequentially extract brine and water vapor from the carbon sequestrated brine. Each brine removal system includes at least one atomizing unit for spray atomization and vacuum flashing the carbon sequestrated brine into atomized water vapor and concentrated brine. Further, each subsequent brine removal system includes at least one mineral extraction unit allowing sequential removal of minerals from the concentrated brine received from a previous brine removal system, and provide minerals and stable carbon products, till substantially zero brine discharge is achieved.

  • Patent number: 11214743
Abstract: A system and process for refining crude oil to produce higher-purity, cleaner-burning designer fuels with reduced emissions. The crude oil may be treated with viscosity-reductant additives, which reduces viscosity by up to 50% and increases API gravity by more than 2 points. The method of spray-cracking and vacuum-flashing of crude oil separates light end chains and heavy end chains inside the reactor. The vapor is condensed into designer fuels like bunker, diesel, jet/kerosene fuel, naphtha and gasoline fuel using multi-stage horizontal reverse condensate-condenser. The GVF centrifuges are configured to separate targeted fuels of desired density value as per their ideal fuel densities, which carry out centrifugal polishing to generate targeted fuel products of desired density and hydrocarbon molecules of desired purity values. These designer fuels are further treated with desulfurization additive.

  • Publication number: 20190316032
Abstract: A dual-function polyacrylamide proppant suspending agent is prepared by blending polyacrylamide in a concentration range of 0.10% to 0.90% active polyacrylamide material in an aqueous solution by weight of the mix fluid. The proppant suspending agent can suspend granular materials commonly used as fracturing proppants. The polyacrylamide active material is used on the surface as proppant suspending agent to suspend proppants at very high proppant concentration levels. The polyacrylamide and proppant are both diluted by a supply of dean proppant free fluid to concentration ranges for proppant and friction reducer (FR) commonly used in Waterfrac treatments with the resulting slurry being injected into the wellbore, through the casing of the well and into the reservoir at high rates with lowered surface treating pressures. The polyacrylamide active material performs two different functions at two different times during the hydraulic fracturing process.
