  • Controlled air in polyester tube extrusion for clear sealable parison

    Abstract: Polyester tubing is extruded with the downstream end open to the atmosphere and with a communication to the atmosphere, if any, through the die having an effective diameter of no more than 50 percent the inside diameter of the tubing. The resultant tube can be cut into parisons having good clarity, which parisons can be easily sealed off at one end.
