  • Patent number: 4565153
Abstract: A method and apparatus for impregnating reinforcing fibers with a thermosetting resin having a short pot life. The method comprises mixing the components of the resin and supplying the mixed resin under pressure to an enclosed chamber. The reinforcing fibers are pulled through the chamber to rapidly impregnate the fibers with resin and the coated fibers are immediately utilized in forming a molded article.
