    Abstract: A cylinder is rotatably located in a head of a wrench. Ratchet teeth located in a groove around the periphery of the cylinder acts in conjunction with a pawl to secure the cylinder in position and to provide ratchet action. An insert with axially located socket rotates with the cylinder to act on a fastener.
