  • Patent number: 4855150
Abstract: According to the present invention, a pastry cone includes a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion of the cone provides a sloping gripping surface having vertically extending ribs to permit the cone to be gripped by a user. The upper portion of the cone includes a straight cylindrical section bounded by an upper circumferentially extending rib and a lower circumferentially extending rib. A rectangular-shaped removable band extends around the cone between the upper and lower ribs. The band includes a visual display containing an advertisement or other information.

  • Patent number: 4128905
Abstract: A receptacle for temporary retention of fluid as well as for routing fluid from a basin faucet to a basin drain. One disclosed embodiment includes a body member, a valve, a base member, anchoring means and a spacing plate. The body member is positionable beneath the faucet and has an open bowl portion into which water from the faucet can flow. Joined to the base of the bowl portion is a hollow neck portion in which a valve is positioned. The valve is manually operable to open or close a passageway through the neck and thus the valve controls the retention and release of water from within the bowl portion. The anchoring means includes a stem-like member on which compressible, triangularly-shaped bosses are formed. The bosses effect an interference fit with the inner walls of the drain to secure the receptacle in an upright position. The base which is joined to the neck portion includes a flange which rests atop the spacing plate.

  • Patent number: 3969825
Abstract: A bow square device of generally question mark shape, has a relatively flat body and has a channel therein whose center lies approximately within the plane containing the body. The channel defined by the body is adapted to confine the shaft of bow supported arrow therein. Spring chips are detachably mounted on each end of the body for detachably and slidably attaching the device to strung a bow string. The body may be slid along a strung bow string, while confining a bow supported arrow, so that when the shaft of the arrow is approximately perpendicular to the strung bow string, the pointed end of the arrow, which is confined by the device, will indicate the proper nocking point on the strung bow string. The portion of the body adapted to confine the bow supported arrow shaft is spaced from the strung bow string, thus enabling the arrow itself to be moved toward a strung bow string to enable the point of the arrow to locate the nocking point on the strung bow string.
