  • Patent number: 8013156
Abstract: The present invention provides compounds for modulating protein kinase enzymatic activity for modulating cellular activities such as proliferation, differentiation, programmed cell death, migration and chemoinvasion. Compounds of the invention inhibit, regulate and/or modulate kinases, particularly Tie-2. Methods of using the compounds and pharmaceutical compositions thereof to treat kinase-dependent diseases and conditions are also an aspect of the invention.

  • Patent number: 7704995
Abstract: This invention relates to compounds for modulating protein kinase enzymatic activity for modulating cellular activities such as proliferation, differentiation, programmed cell death, migration and chemoinvasion, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds. Even more specifically, the invention relates to compounds that inhibit, regulate and/or modulate kinases, particularly Checkpoint Kinases, even more particularly Checkpoint Kinase 1, or Chk1. Methods of therapeutically or prophylactically using the compounds and compositions to treat kinase-dependent diseases and conditions are also an aspect of the invention, and include methods of treating cancer, as well as other disease states associated with unwanted angiogenesis and/or cellular proliferation, by administering effective amounts of such compounds.

  • Patent number: 7387555
Abstract: An apparatus and method for injecting a boat engine's exhaust gasses into the boat propeller's propwash, aft of the propeller. The apparatus comprises piping which injects the boat engine's exhaust gasses into the propwash of the boat, aft of the propeller. This results in the movement of the exhaust gasses away from the boat thus protecting the health of the boat occupants, reduced levels of air pollutants, and a reduction in noise pollution. The injection piping includes several features that protect the boat in the event that the injection piping should strike a solid object in the water.

  • Patent number: 7216601
Abstract: The current invention is an apparatus and method for an inner and outer dual hull boat capable of transforming between different levels of planing ability. The design is a gateway in the outer hull which allows water to pass through the void between the inner and outer hull. By controlling the position of a gate, the flow of water through the gateway in the forward moving boat can be controlled, which allows for the control of the planing or displacement capacity of the boat.

  • Patent number: 6935909
Abstract: A curved lower surface of a gliding board, such as a wakeboard or a surfboard, is provided with an anticlastic shape to resemble the shape of a saddle. The lower surface of the board is concave in a transverse cross section and convex in a longitudinal cross section along the entire length of the board.

  • Publication number: 20040176000
Abstract: An apparatus and method for utilization as a gliding board, such as a wake surfboard. The apparatus is the lower surface 26 of said gliding board and is a curved planar surface in a saddle or anticlastic shape. The resulting curved planar lower surface 26 of the gliding board exhibits excellent gliding properties over a fluid medium.
