Patent number: 11704378Abstract: Systems, methods, and products described herein include a server, which receives a request from a user's electronic client device. The server may query web pages and determine if the web pages comply with the compliance rules. When the web pages do not comply with the compliance rules, the server may generate an analysis report on the web pages and send the analysis report to the user. After the user reviews the report and chooses the trouble web pages, the server sends review alerts to the points of contact, such as the product owners and other stakeholders. The product owner may more easily be able to take proper actions and better manage the websites by refreshing noncompliant or incorrect content. In this way, the systems and methods allow product owners and users to manage and/or curate the content of web pages more systematically and automatically.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2022Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Cindy Zoller, Dennis Myers, Amy Rice, Larry Young, Georgiana Watts, Michael Bergin

Patent number: 11478669Abstract: The embodiment of an aerial fire suppression system comprising of a water tank (104) clamped to a transport unit (100), and a snorkel (108) connected to the water tank (104) for pumping water. A straight boom lift (200) is mounted to the transport unit (100). The straight boom lift (200) has a tower boom (206) that can pivot downward from the transport unit (100). The tower boom (206) has extension booms (208, 210, 212, 214) attached to it that can extend to and fro. The inner most extension boom (214) has a main boom (218) mounted to it. The main boom (218) can pivot about the extension boom (214). Each end of the main boom (218) has a water cannon (230) mounted on it. The water cannon (230) consists of a monitor (232) that rotates about and a pivotal fire nozzle (234). The water cannons have the capacity to blast water or a product on a natural disaster. The technique enables the main boom (218) and water cannons (230) to maneuver and pivot within close proximity of a fire.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2021Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Inventor: Larry Young

Patent number: 11179666Abstract: A system for the removal of gaseous pollutants including smoke, exhaust and other gases that are released into the atmosphere, comprises means for enclosing the gaseous pollutants that are released into the atmosphere and for transporting them through tubing and ductwork. Means for filtering the gaseous pollutants through a filtration system and then mixing the gaseous pollutants exiting the filtration system with steam. Means for cooling the gaseous pollutants mixed with steam exiting the filtration system with a mist to convert the pollutants being cooled from a gaseous state to a liquid state, while concurrently disposing of the smoke, exhaust, liquid and solid particulates that are in the pollutants.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2021Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Inventor: Larry Young

Patent number: 7764955Abstract: A method and system for routing a call based on calling device type is disclosed. In a communication network, an originating switch may receive a call request from a calling device seeking to connect with a dialed number. The originating switch may responsively send into a signaling system a call-setup message that conveys information including a calling device type indicator, such as a serial number of the calling device. A controller may then use the calling device type as a basis to select a destination to which the call should be routed in order to facilitate connecting with the dialed number. The invention can be usefully employed to facilitate routing of customer service calls concerning a calling device.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2003Date of Patent: July 27, 2010Assignee: Sprint Spectrum L.P.Inventors: Manish Mangal, Doug Williams, Fred Rogers, Larry Young

Publication number: 20070170672Abstract: The invention comprises a storage device for storing panel lift components disassembled which components include a leg support, telescoping means, a cradle for supporting a drywall panel with the telescoping means for telescoping the cradle, with the storing device having an upright pole to support the telescoping means upright, and engaging means to engage and secure the cradle and leg supporting means on the storage device, and with the storage device having wheels to move the device thereon from place to place. The storage device is capable of receiving and securely holding any of the drywall lift components together or independently while in a vertical or in a horizontal position as in transit, loaded on a vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2004Publication date: July 26, 2007Inventors: Roland Young, Larry Young

Publication number: 20070025586Abstract: An armored voice coil assembly comprises a former that is impregnated with a curable resin, preferably polyimide resin. Voice coil wire is wound around the outside surface of the former and is then preferably encased with an outer layer of resin impregnated glass fabric wrapped around the voice coil windings, effectively enveloping the voice coil within inner and outer layers of fabric and resin. The armored voice coil assembly is then cured into a solid shape.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2006Publication date: February 1, 2007Inventor: Larry Young

Publication number: 20070016135Abstract: A needle depth stop which is side loading and configured to accommodate a wide range of needle diameters. The needle depth stop includes jaws which are biased closed and indexed into place by a spring member, such as a “C” ring. However, the jaws can be pivoted open for receiving a needle by pinching together two finger grip portions, the opening force deceasing at a decreasing rate as a result of the pivot translating toward the springs load center. The needle depth stop preferably provides approximately one pound of resistance to longitudinal displacement along the needle, and only one hand is required to position and lock the needle depth stop into place. In order to accommodate a wide range of needle diameters, the jaws include a plurality of grooves, each configured to accommodate a different range of needle diameters.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2006Publication date: January 18, 2007Inventors: Rowland Kanner, Larry Young

Publication number: 20050269228Abstract: A needle counter device which includes a latch mechanism for securing the device in a closed condition. The latch mechanism preferably consists of a latch member which is integrated into the edge of a lid of the device and which is configured to be received in a corresponding hole or aperture in a base of the device, as this arrangement simplifies manufacturing, as well as increases resistance to deflection and spreads the opening load (i.e., the load used to unlatch the latch mechanism) into a whole side of the part instead of having the load be concentrated at a narrow portion. This latch mechanism can be implemented in connection with a needle counter device as described above, wherein the needle counter device utilizes an adhesive disposed in one or more troughs. Alternatively, the latch mechanism can be implemented in connection with a more conventional needle counter device, such as one which does not include an adhesive disposed in one or more troughs.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2005Publication date: December 8, 2005Inventors: Rowland Kanner, Larry Young

Publication number: 20050211588Abstract: A needle counter device which utilizes an adhesive disposed in one or more, preferably V-shaped, troughs. The adhesive provides instant, strong grip upon contact, but also provides very low resistance to needle penetration (i.e., it is easy to stick a needle in the adhesive, but difficult to pull the needle out). The device includes a base and a lid, and opens and closes much like a book. Once the device is closed, the device tends to remain closed unless intentionally opened. A thin layer of adhesive may be provided on the inside of the lid, to retain used surgical blades, and a piece of resilient foam may also be provided for temporarily “parking” a suture needle. The sides of each trough are lined with structure which serves to prevent an accidentally laid surgical instrument from unintentionally contacting the adhesive. Numerical indices provide a quick visual, counting assist.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2004Publication date: September 29, 2005Inventors: Rowland Kanner, Larry Young
