  • Patent number: 6729238
Abstract: A method for printing a conductive coating on an electronic unit by means of tampon printing is provided. During the tampon printing phase, a tampon pad is moved in small movements in one or more directions in relation to the electronic unit. The movements are made while the tampon pad is in contact with the surface to be printed.

  • Patent number: 6498292
Abstract: The present invention concerns a reinforced conductive layer (7). The layer is applied at a part (3a,b) of an electrical unit, e.g. a mobile telephone, which is to come into contact with another part (3a,b). The layer (7) will protect the covered material against corrosion due to formation of a galvanic element. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the layer (7) is made of the made material as the part (3a,b) which it will come into contact with. Furthermore, spaces (16) may be formed in assembly of a mobile telephone, which spaces (16) are surrounded by conductive material. (FIG.

  • Publication number: 20020054978
Abstract: A cloth for covering an opening in the housing of electronic equipment includes a stabilizing support structure. The cloth is permeable to gases, especially air, but is impermeable to fluids, moisture, dirt, dust, particles and the like. The stabilizing support structure may have one or more bars or may be adjacent to or integrated in the cloth. The support may also be provided by a fixed edge of the opening that the cloth is stretched over.

  • Publication number: 20020026876
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for printing of a conductive coating on an electronic unit (22) by means of tampon printing. During the tampon printing phase a tampon pad (1,15) is moving in small movements in one or more directions in relation to the electronic unit. The movements are made at the same time as the tampon pad (1,15) is in contact with the surface to be printed.

  • Patent number: 6276485
Abstract: Arrangement at tiller truck, at which the communication between the handle and the truck itself is done via a serial connection, for instance a serial cable (31) between a logic unit in the handle and a logic unit in the truck itself. A drive control (7, 8) includes a number of Hall-sensors (19) that are successively activated by a magnet (17) that is in turn mechanically activated, so that via a logic circuit a varied drive current is fed to the drive motor. The Hall-sensors (18) are arranged on a circuit card 19 that also include logic circuits. A safety control (belly button) (9) that is arranged on the handle. If the belly button is depressed this is on an inward protruding arm (21) provided with a magnet 22 that at this movement is moved so that it will influence one or several Hall elements belonging to the drive control (7, 8), at which however the magnet (22) is on the other side of a circuit card (20) that carries the Hall elements.

  • Patent number: 6244172
Abstract: Tamp printing of at least one picture (4) occurs by means of at least one tamp pad (1, 18, 24, 34) on a piece (3), which has boundary surfaces (5, 13) forming angles relative to each other, the tamp pad first printing in one direction (10) against a boundary surface (13, 43) and thereafter, after further compression of the tamp pad (1) against said boundary surface (13) due to its deformation, prints in another direction (45) than the direction (10) against another boundary surface or other boundary surfaces (5, 43), whereby the picture is transferred to said boundary surfaces.

  • Patent number: 6200630
Abstract: A layer may be produced on the surface of a detail to thereby provide electromagnetic radiation shielding. The layer (e.g., a metallic layer) is transferred either directly or indirectly onto the detail, which may be all or a portion of, for example, a telephone casing. The transfer may be effectuated through a variety of techniques. For example, a tampon pad may be crafted to conform to the surface of the detail. After the tampon pad is coated by collecting the layer (e.g., from a foundation onto which the layer was pressed through a screen frame or from an etched plate), the layer is transferred to the detail from the tampon pad. Additional examples include transferring the layer by using a screen printing method or by sinking the detail into a fluid bath.

  • Patent number: 6000271
Abstract: A metal forming apparatus utilizes the combination of a wedge shaped die half and a complementary shaped cavity in a frame to shape metal blanks. The cavity includes a metal forming mechanism located adjacent a surface adapted to receive a blank to be shaped. The die half is moveable between an inoperative position outside the cavity and an operative position within the cavity. With the die half in the cavity, the metal forming mechanism can apply the necessary force to shape the metal blank in accordance with the die shape. Forming can be attained through the use of pressurized fluid applied against the blank, mechanical or hydraulic ram forces or the like. After shaping is finished, the die half is withdrawn from the cavity, the die half carrying with it the shaped metal part for part recovery and initiation of another forming cycle.

  • Patent number: 5994650
Abstract: In order to increase safety of lift trucks, a weight indication for the driver is provided so that the driver may know how heavy a load he is handling,. This weight indication is obtained by measuring the current to the motor of the hydraulic pump. In order to eliminate the risk that monetary variations may result in faulty measurements preferably a mean value of current is taken for a certain time or the value of the measured current is added during a fixed time interval. Obtained values are then multiplied by a conversion factor so that the weight in, for instance, kilograms is obtained and delivered to a suitable display device. Obtained values also may be used to provide a warning by sound or light should the load exceed the maximum allowed.

  • Patent number: 5786787
Abstract: A method for determining the course of another vehicle in relation to one's own vehicle by measuring the position of the other vehicle in relation to one's own vehicle with a transmitter/receiver system, such as a radar system permits course determination both on straight and on bend segments. According to the method, the side location of the other vehicle and one's own vehicle is determined at a position where the other vehicle is level with one's own vehicle, by moving the front vehicle backwards in time and/or moving the rear vehicle forwards in time, on the basis of position measurements of the position of the other vehicle. The side location of the other vehicle is compared with the side location of one's own vehicle, by which a measure of the discrepancy between the course of the other vehicle and the course of one's own vehicle is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5269709
Abstract: A battery terminal post clamp including a quick coupling device for its connection to a battery terminal post and operating means for operating the quick coupling device, said operating means being provided with an insulated handle means. The insulated handle means (320 is connected to the operating means (120 by lost motion means (37, 38, 39, 40) allowing the handle means (32) to be moved a limited distance without operating the quick coupling device to disengage said battery terminal post, said limited distance enabling access to metallic parts of the clamp.
