  • Patent number: 9674810
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus, method and computer program which frequency shifts a received signal by a first frequency value and low-pass filters the frequency shifted received signal at a first cutoff frequency to filter out a plurality of adjacent carrier frequencies. Parallel baseband processing is then performed on two or more adjacent carrier frequencies among the plurality of adjacent carrier frequencies based upon an adjacent carrier power criterion. In certain examples, the parallel baseband processing is adapted for detecting a frequency correction burst in two or more adjacent Global System for Mobile Communications carrier frequencies or an Enhanced Data Rates for Global System for Mobile Communications Evolution carrier frequencies.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to suppress interference, such as interference attributable to increased network density, interference attributable to interference between uplink and downlink transmissions in a TDD system and/or interference attributable to D2D communications. In the context of a method, it is determined whether communication between an access point and a mobile terminal or between a mobile terminal and another mobile terminal is to be subjected to real-valued modulation or complex-valued modulation such that the modulation and a dominant form of interference for the mobile terminal are either both real-valued or both complex-valued. The method also includes providing for communication with the mobile terminal in accordance with the one of real-valued modulation or complex-valued modulation that was determined.

  • Publication number: 20130260976
Abstract: A laminate for use in packages comprises a base layer (3), a welding layer (1), and an adhesive layer (2) sandwiched there between. The adhesive layer (2) is a hot melt or a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) having a shear rate of 10-150 minutes at 40° C. in a test area of 12.5 mm×25 mm. The welding layer (1) comprises a layer of a polyethylene (PE) copolymer, and optionally an additional layer of PET, PE, such as low density polyethylene (LDPE) and/or PP. The method of making the laminate involves applying a base layer (3), an adhesive layer (2) of hot melt/PSA and subsequently a welding layer (1) in one working process to form a reclosable laminate (9). This laminate may serve as a reclosable lid and exhibits a reduced risk of cracks or so-called piping in the laminate.

  • Publication number: 20070293742
Abstract: This invention relates to an system for self treatment. The system consists of several portable modules where one of the modules is designated as a master module. The master module controls, supervises and monitors all the mutual information and data exchange between itself and the rest of the modules. The modules can e.g. consist of a BGM, a doser and a storage container. The modules may be able to generate and store data which is transmitted to the master module if it is within range. If the master module is not within range, the data is kept locally in the module until the master module is available. The master module can send the data to an external unit like a computer or database for further processing. A physician or an expert care-team can access the data in the database and give guidance to the patient on the basis of these processed data. This processing could also be done automatically by utilization of an expert system.
