Abstract: A cleaning appliance for blasting surfaces is disclosed and includes an apparatus for producing CO2 pellets that includes a compaction device for compacting CO2 snow to form the CO2 pellets, wherein the compaction device includes an expansion device for producing CO2 snow by expanding liquid or pressurized CO2, and wherein the cleaning appliance includes a CO2 connection line fluidically connected to the expansion chamber inlet for supplying the liquid or pressurized CO2 to the expansion device, wherein the cleaning appliance includes a passive cooling device for cooling liquid or pressurized CO2 flowing through the CO2 connection line, wherein the cooling device includes at least one heat exchanger, which includes a cooling channel and a CO2 channel forming a connection line portion of the CO2 connection line, wherein the cooling channel is surrounded at least in sections by the CO2 channel in the circumferential direction relative to the direction of extent.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for producing, in particular high-strength, CO2 pellets from CO2 snow, in particular for a cleaning appliance for blasting surfaces to be treated with a mixed stream of a pressurized gas and CO2 pellets, wherein the apparatus comprises a compressing device for compressing CO2 snow to form CO2 pellets and a delivery device for delivering the CO2 pellets into a pressurized gas stream, wherein the apparatus comprises a fluid mechanical transfer device for conveying CO2 pellets from the compressing device to the delivery device and wherein the transfer device is arranged or formed between the compressing device and the delivery device. Furthermore, an improved cleaning appliance and an improved method for producing CO2 pellets from CO2 snow are proposed.

Abstract: A vehicle washing installation is provided including first and second supports on which a horizontal roof wash brush and a roof drying unit are held for movement between an upper and a lower end position, and a splash guard element arranged between the roof wash brush and the roof drying unit at the upper end position. The splash guard element has a recess extending in the area between a lateral edge and a lower edge of the splash guard element and into which a part of the roof drying unit in its upper end position extends, wherein the lower edge has a drain channel extending over the width of the splash guard element, the drain channel having an end section movable between a first position where it extends over the entire width of a recess and engages under the recess and a second position where it releases the recess.
