  • Patent number: 8387949
Abstract: The invention relates to a coaxial coupling which comprises a male part (501) and a female part (502) and comprises a bypass valve (218) so that the female part (502) can be decoupled from the male part (501) while pressurized fluid passes through the female part (502). The nipple pipe (105) of the male part (501) pushes a spring-loaded valve (218) in the female part (502) over said rear holes (301) in the inner pipe (2) of the female part. The female part (502) has a rotatable locking sleeve (207), which is coupled to a sleeve (214) accommodating pins (213).

  • Patent number: 4659547
Abstract: The invention resides in a process of preparing an inhomogeneous sintered body by adjoining metal powder with refractory ceramic powder at normal powder metallurgical pressures and sintering conditions. The invention is characterized thereby that the sintered body is manufactured in one layer or several layers having displaced mixing ratio between the ceramics and the metal and that the binding between ceramics and metal is strengthened with monoaluminium phosphate or a monoaluminium phosphate former. The sintered body can be used for example as heat shielding.

  • Patent number: 4518427
Abstract: Chromium-containing iron or steel powder containing about 0.2-15 percent by weight of chromium, the rest being iron. The powder is characterized thereby that the chromium is present in the form of a powder-formed Fe-Cr-alloy in .alpha.-phase containing about 40-50 percent by weight of chromium and having a particle size essentially less than about 50 .mu.m; a process for manufacturing the powder and pressed and sintered products manufactured in a powder-metallurgical manner starting from the said powder.

  • Patent number: 4126452
Abstract: New phosphorus-containing steel powders for use in the manufacture of sintered components of high toughness are described which comprise steel powder substantially free of phosphorus and having good compressibility, and in intimate admixture therewith, a ferrophosphorus powder having a phosphorus content of at least about 2.8% by weight and preferably about 12 to 17%, in proportions to provide a phosphorus content in the final powder of from about 0.2 to 1.5% by weight, the ferrophosphorus powder containing at least about 0.3% carbon and preferably about 0.5 to 2.5% and having a maximum particle size of about 10 to 20 .mu.m.

  • Patent number: 4093449
Abstract: A phosphorus steel powder for manufacturing sintered details having an extremely small tendency to brittleness ruptures consists of iron or steel powder substantially free from phosphorus, mixed with a phosphorus powder characterized by a maximum particle size of 20 .mu.m, preferably a maximum particle size of 10 .mu.m. The phosphorus content of the ferrophosphorus powder shall exceed 2.8% and in order to reduce the wearing of the tools the phosphorus content shall be less than 17%. If the ferrophosphorus powder is manufactured by grinding piece goods the phosphorus content shall exceed 12% and shall preferably be between 14 and 16%. The phosphorus content of the preferred mixture is between 0.2 and 1.5%. The iron-ferrophosphorus mixture is heated with or without the addition of oil in reducing atmosphere to a temperature of between 650.degree. and 900.degree. C for a period of 15 minutes to 2 hours to improve the protection against segregation.

  • Patent number: 4090868
Abstract: A phosphorus steel powder for manufacturing sintered details having an extremely small tendency to brittleness ruptures consists of iron or steel powder substantially free from phosphorus, mixed with a phosphorus powder containing in all less than 4% impurities which are at the sintering temperature more easily oxidized than the main components iron and phosphorus. The iron-ferrophosphorus mixture is heated with or without the addition of oil in reducing atmosphere to a temperature of between 65.degree. and 900.degree. C for a period of 15 minutes to 2 hours to improve the protection against segregation.

  • Patent number: 3988673
Abstract: A device for measuring the stopping time of working machines is provided with first and second switches for synchronically breaking the current to the working machine and starting a time meter, and a third switch for stopping the time meter when the working movement of the working machine has ceased. For the actuation of the first and second switches, the measuring device is provided with a first abutment entrained by the working machine and, in its turn, entraining a second abutment which is provided with its own power source for releasing the second abutment from the first abutment, thereby to actuate the third switch when the working movement of the working machine has ceased. There is a regulation, with particular regard to presses such as edging presses, eccentric presses and similar working machines, that the press should be provided with information concerning the braking time corresponding to the maximum stopping distance of the press.
