  • Patent number: 12376694
Abstract: A garment hanger handling device comprising a housing and a gripping tool adapted to grip and hold a garment hanger. The gripping tool is adapted to pick up a garment hanger at a loading station, to move the garment hanger to a mounting station, and to forward the garment hanger to an unloading station. The garment hanger handling device is provided with a linear actuator adapted to move the gripping tool in a vertical direction and a rotational actuator adapted to rotate the gripping tool around a vertical axis. The gripping tool is adapted to position the garment hanger in a predefined rotational and vertical position at the mounting station in dependency of an input signal. A position where a garment is applied on a garment hanger can be adapted to the length of the operator, type of hanger, and garment. The position can be adjusted for each mounting cycle.

  • Publication number: 20230112686
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for positioning an empty garment hanger in an individual mounting position, comprising the steps of: picking up an empty garment hanger at a loading station with a gripping tool, reading a data signal identifying a garment that is to be hung on the garment hanger, moving the empty garment hanger to a mounting station, adjusting the position of the garment hanger in dependency of the data signal, and holding the garment hanger in the individual mounting position. The advantage of the invention is that the position where a garment is applied on a garment hanger can be adapted to the length of the operator, type of hanger and type of garment, where the position can be adjusted individually for each mounting cycle.

  • Patent number: 8272504
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fastener assembly (1) for attaching a carrier (2) to a conveyor chain (3). The fastener assembly (1) comprises a first and a second link plate (4, 5), connected by means of link pins (9) such that they define between them an interspace (6). The first link plate (4) has an outer side (8). The fastener assembly (1) further comprises a fastener (10) for a carrier (2), which fastener (10) is attached to the first link plate (4) at the outer side (8) thereof by means of a retainer (11), which retainer (11) at least partially encompasses the first link plate (4) and extends into the interspace (6). The present invention also relates to a carrier (2) for use with the fastener assembly (1), a conveyor chain (3) comprising at least one fastener assembly (1) and a method for modifying a conveyor chain (3).

  • Patent number: 7055673
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for feeding threadlike objects (2) such as hooks for garment hangers (3). The device (1) comprises a guide rail (4) along which threadlike objects (2) are to be conveyed, a feeder element (5) having a groove (6) into which threadlike objects (2) may be partially or completely received, the feeder element (5) being movable in relation to the guide rail (4) such that a threadlike object (2) received in the groove (6) can be conveyed by the feeder element (5) along the guide rail (4) as the groove (6) moves along the guide rail (4). The guide rail (4) is movable towards and away from the feeder element (5) such that a distance between the feeder element (5) and the guide rail (4) can be adjusted to the size of the threadlike objects (2) that pass through the device (1). The invention also relates to a system (22) for conveying and feeding garment hangers (3) from a first conveyor section (23) to a second conveyor section (24) and to a method for feeding threadlike objects.
