  • Publication number: 20220351353
Abstract: A computer-implemented point-cloud data acquisitioning method for acquiring point-cloud data of the inside of a mining equipment. The method includes the step of acquiring from a sensor, a first dataset and a second dataset, wherein each dataset includes datapoints at coordinates. The method extracts features from the first and second dataset and aligns the first and second dataset using the extracted features. The first and second dataset are aligned into a point-cloud data. The geometry of the mining equipment is estimated based on the point-cloud data and the point-cloud data is used to identify a region of the estimated geometry indicating insufficient data.

  • Patent number: 9616429
Abstract: The invention concerns a control and positioning system for the indication of the mounting position of an exchangeable wear lining element at a surface at a wall that is subject to wear, which may be constituted by, for example, the inner surface of a rotating drum at an ore grinder. The wear lining element is supported at the free end of a maneuverable arm that is a component of a lifting arrangement that is controlled during the handling of the wear lining element during a mounting operation by a crane operator. The wall is provided with a set of mounting holes and the wear lining element is equipped on its lower surface with a set of attachment means. The wear lining element is intended to be tightened against the surface by means of supplementary attachment means that are introduced through the mounting holes.

  • Patent number: 8813969
Abstract: The invention concerns a spiral module (1) for a trommel screen comprising a flat part (5) that transports ore and that is designed as a product that becomes worn, with an elastic cladding (27) that functions as wear lining, intended to interact with the charge for the transport of the charge forwards on a sieving deck (2) that is a component of the sieving drum, mounting fixtures (9, 9?) intended for coupling with hole openings (3) in the sieving deck and supporting the part that transports ore directed in towards the central axis of the sieving drum.

  • Patent number: 6241284
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for protecting the driver of a motor vehicle including a steering bracket for supporting the main steering shaft of the motor vehicle, the steering bracket including a first portion mounted on the body of the motor vehicle and a second portion mounted on the main steering shaft, the first and second portions being relatively displaceable with respect to each other, an energy absorbing tube which includes a number of grooves having different deformation resistances, a knife mounted adjacent to the energy absorbing tube so that upon relative displacement of the two portions of the steering bracket, the knife moves along one of the grooves, and a controller for setting the position of the knife with respect to one of the grooves whereby the deformation resistance of the energy absorbing tube can be adjusted by the controller.
