  • Patent number: 11926232
Abstract: A system has a submarine vessel and a submarine docking port. The docking port is arranged for transfer of electrical energy to the submarine vessel when the submarine vessel is docked. The submarine vessel has a submarine navigation system. The docking port has a primary coil for emitting a magnetic field. The submarine vessel has a secondary coil. The submarine vessel has means for measuring a strength of the magnetic field received by the secondary coil. The submarine vessel has a positioning electronics that guides the submarine vessel in a horizontal plane to maximize the measured local magnetic field. The positioning electronics guides the submarine vessel in the vertical direction when the measured magnetic field is at a local maximum and the magnetic field increases when the submarine vessel descends towards the primary coil. Also, a method is for docking a submarine vessel on a submarine docking port.

  • Patent number: 9419373
Abstract: A connector is for the inductive transmission of electrical energy. The connector includes a female part and a male part. The female part and the male part each are provided with an electrical circuit, the electrical circuit forming either a primary side or a secondary side of a transformer. The female part includes a spherical cavity and a surface layer and the male part includes a spherical portion and a surface layer. The spherical cavity is complementary to the spherical portion. The electrical circuit of the female part is formed with a concave side on the side facing the surface layer of the female part, and the electrical circuit of the male part is positioned in the spherical portion of the male part. The electrical circuit is formed with a convex side on the side facing the surface layer of the male part.

  • Patent number: 9297470
Abstract: A valve assembly comprises a hot stab and a complementary connection block. The hot stab and the connection block are each provided with a pressure balanced rotating sleeve. When the hot stab is disconnected from the connection block, the rotating sleeve is in a closed position and fluid is not allowed to flow through the :hot stab. The rotating sleeve of the connection block is also in a closed position such that fluid is not allowed to flow through the connection block. The hot stab may be connected and disconnected to the connection block without reducing the fluid pressure.

  • Publication number: 20130334448
Abstract: A device for a valve has a fixed part provided with at least one fluid port and a rotatable sleeve provided with at least one bore. The sleeve is structured in a manner allowing it to rotate the bore in-line with the fluid port in order to allow a fluid to flow through the fluid port and the bore when the sleeve is in an open position. The sleeve is structured in a manner allowing it to rotate the bore away from the fluid port in order not to allow a fluid to flow through the fluid port when the sleeve is in a closed position. The fixed part and the sleeve form an annulus between the fixed part and the sleeve. The annulus is restricted axially by two packer elements in the axial directions of the sleeve and the fixed part, wherein one of the two packer elements is located at one side of the fluid port, and the other of the two packer elements is located at the opposite side of the fluid port, and wherein the annulus is in fluid communication with the fluid port of the fixed part.
