  • Publication number: 20120328370
Abstract: The present invention relates to a laying machine for laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire including: a blade arrangement (2) for making a trench (5) in the ground, a consolidation and laying means (3) being arranged behind the blade arrangement (2), for clearing and safeguarding the trench (5) from collapsing while laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire into the trench. A blade assembly comprising compartments for cooling fluid.

  • Patent number: 7748701
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for feeding out end sheets from a stack of sheets comprises that a driver acting against the end sheet of the stack (1) first displaces the end sheet in the plane thereof toward a support for elastic bulging of the end sheet, and then displaces the buckled end sheet away from the support, to a separating arrangement for the separation of sheets that unintentionally are accompanying the end sheet (21) fed out. The driver being carried by a spring arrangement, which offers an increasing support force to the driver upon the advancement of the stack by means of a pusher acting against the rear end of the stack. A sensor detects the displacement position of the driver, and activates the driver for a sheet-outfeed operation when the distance sensor detects a displacement position of the driver corresponding to a predetermined abutment force of the driver against the end sheet. Between the sheet-outfeed operations, the pusher is unloaded.

  • Publication number: 20100148424
Abstract: An arrangement for the separation of an end sheet (21) from a group of parallel sheets overlapping each other comprises a pair of parallel rotatable rollers, which between themselves form a roller nip, the group of sheets moving in the plane thereof toward the roller nip with heading edges substantially parallel to the rollers, and a first one of the rollers being arranged to rotate in a first direction in order to contact and convey the end sheet (2?) in the feed direction thereof. The second roller is arranged rotatable in the same rotational direction as the first roller. The envelope surface of the first roller has a higher friction coefficient than the second roller. A displacement arrangement is arranged to mutually bias the rollers into contact against each other, and that the rollers are mutually directed for the displacement toward and away from each other.

  • Publication number: 20080293813
Abstract: Gaseous nitric oxide (NO) can be delivered to a mammal for prophylactic or therapeutic purposes using a composition capable of delivering NO, comprising a compound capable of forming a reversible bond or association with NO. Methods for the manufacture and use of said composition are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060057732
Abstract: Pulmonary embolism in a human patient can be detected or confirmed by monitoring the level of endogenous NO in expired air, comparing the measured level with baseline values previously obtained for the same patient or baseline values representing a healthy population. The method can be used alone, or as a supplemental or adjunct step in traditional methods for diagnosing pulmonary embolism. Analysis of the obtained NO value, with consideration of the flow and resistance, can be used to indicate the severity of the pulmonary embolism.

  • Patent number: 6156951
Abstract: An absorbent structure in an absorbent product such as a diaper, an incontinence protector, a sanitary napkin, a panty liner or dressing, where the absorbent structure is formed of a piece of foamed material, which as an integrated unit has a liquid permeable surface and a corresponding surface which is liquid-proof and an absorbent layer between them. The liquid-proof surface can preferably be the skin of closed cells, which during manufacturing is formed on the piece of foamed material.

  • Patent number: 5728082
Abstract: The invention relates to an absorbent body for use in diapers or like articles. The invention is characterized in that the absorbent body includes a first layer of fluff, a first superabsorbent mixed in the fluff layer and having a high degree of cross-linking, and in that the absorbent body includes a second layer which contains a second superabsorbent having a higher liquid absorbency than the first superabsorbent.

  • Patent number: 4170807
Abstract: A fastener device particularly intended to secure articles, such as washing, on a washing line. The fastener device comprises a flat gripping section and two arms sections which extend arcuately downwards from the gripping section, in a direction towards one another and such that the arm end portions cross over, whereby between the gripping section and the arms an aperture is formed to accommodate the line and the washing. To secure the washing on the line, the fastener device is fitted over the line and the washing with the gripping section and arms at right angles to the line, whereafter the fastener device is turned over a quarter of a turn, whereby a torsional force is generated in the arms, effecting the securement of the washing.
