  • Publication number: 20240105399
Abstract: A handheld power tool (1) is disclosed comprising a handle (20) and a trigger element (30) extending along a curved portion of the handle (20) and being movably arranged relative to the handle (20). The power tool (1) further comprises a spring assembly (8) configured to bias the trigger element (30) towards an unactuated position relative to the handle (20) and a switch (10) configured to switch from a first state to a second state when the trigger element (30) is moved from the unactuated position. The spring assembly (8) comprises a follower (9) and a spring member (13) configured to bias the follower (9) in a first direction (d1) against a sliding surface (18) of one of the handle (20) and the trigger element (30) to bias the trigger element (30) towards the unactuated position. The follower (9) is slidably arranged relative to the sliding surface (18) along a second direction (d2) being perpendicular to the first direction (d1).

  • Patent number: 7114683
Abstract: The invention presented here relates to a device in a spacecraft comprising a carrier rocket, a satellite and a detachable adapter (4) for connecting a satellite to the carrier rocket, where the adapter (4) comprises a wall structure (14, 15) for supporting the satellite on the carrier rocket, and is fixed at its lower rim to the carrier rocket and is fixed at its upper rim to the satellite. The device is characterised in that the adapter (4) is divided essentially across the longitudinal direction of the spacecraft and that both of the adapter parts (12, 13) are detachably connected to each other. The invention comprises the said adapter design and a method for separating the invented device.

  • Publication number: 20060157460
Abstract: An apparatus for grinding a tungsten electrode (40) for a TIG-welding handle, comprising a grinding arrangement comprising a rotatable grinding wheel and means for rotating the electrode, the apparatus comprising a housing surrounding the grinding device and having an opening (31, 31?), the free end of the electrode that protrudes from an end portion of the welding handle being insertable into the opening of the housing by means of the welding handle. The opening of the housing wall is directed towards the axis of rotation (13) of the support (12) and the grinding rod (23) is located in the vicinity of the opening (31,31?) through the wall (30) of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4890672
Abstract: A method of controlling the recovery of landfill gas from a sanitary landfill and apparatus for performing the method. Landfill gas, which mainly consists of methane and carbon dioxide, is formed by anaerobic decomposition of the organic content of the refuse. This process develops a very small amount of heat. If more gas is drawn from the sanitary landfill than is formed by the anaerobic decomposition, air is drawn into the landfill. The decomposition thereby becomes aerobic, developing large quantities of heat and increasing the content of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the gas. According to the disclosed method, the temperature of the gas from each gas well is measured, thereby providing information for controlling the flow of gas from the corresponding wells. The apparatus disclosed by the invention comprises a control chamber connected to one or more gas wells on the one hand and to a gas furnace over a gas fan on the other hand.

  • Patent number: 4682549
Abstract: A method of purifying flue gases from refuse incineration by cooling and of recovering heat energy as well as an arrangement for performing the method. According to the method the flue gases are cooled in three stages, with the most beneficial structural material with regard to the temperature range, process conditions, and economy being selected in each cooling stage among the materials glass, plastic or alloyed steel. The sizes of the various cooling surfaces are determined such, that the temperatures of the flue gases immediately before the last cooling stage lie closely above the water dew point. The arrangement disclosed by the invention comprises a first cooling member, a second cooling member connected thereto, and a third cooling member connected to the latter and having its outlet connected to a droplet separator which is followed by a flue gas fan which in turn is connected to a chimney.
