  • Patent number: 10926782
Abstract: A strain gauge arrangement for an axle counter has a strain sensor element, a carrier and a railway line structure that is to be monitored. At least one part of the carrier is maintained in an elastically deformed state by the structure when the carrier is secured to the structure. The carrier is formed from a first carrier piece and a second carrier piece, which lie opposite one another at a distance from one another. The strain sensor element has one first fixing point fixed to the first carrier piece, and one second fixing point fixed to the second carrier piece, and a middle section mounted between the fixing points which are not fixed to the first or second carrier piece. The strain gauge arrangement is simple to handle and a drop can be reliably detected and a strain state of the strain sensor element can be predetermined more easily.

  • Patent number: 10904759
Abstract: A method for the initial operation and personalization of a subscriber identity module in a mobile radio network, prior to its first initial operation in the mobile radio network, the subscriber identity module does not yet include an individual secret key and is being equipped with an individual, unique parameter data set only after its first initial operation in the mobile radio network. A mobile radio server takes on, from the subscriber identity module, an authentication message formed with a preliminary parameter data set comprising an individual, unique subscriber identification and a non-individual, non-unique preliminary secret key, and sends, after a verification, in response thereto an individual, unique final secret key to the subscriber identity module for programming into the subscriber identity module. The preliminary parameter data set is introduced into the subscriber identity module selectively during production or by an initializing step based on an initial parameter data set.

Abstract: A pumping system for moving water of a swimming pool includes a water pump, a variable speed motor, and a filter arrangement in fluid communication with the pump. The pumping system can also include means for determining a load value indicative of an unclogged filter that permits movement of water through the filter arrangement, means for determining a load value indicative of a clogged filter that inhibits movement of water through the filter arrangement, and means for determining a performance value of the pumping system. The pumping system also includes means for determining a relative loading value of the filter arrangement, means for displaying the relative loading value, and means for controlling the motor in response to the relative loading value. In one example, the load values and performance value can include flow pressure values. A method of moving water of a swimming pool is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10731655
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a pumping system for at least one aquatic application. The pumping system includes a pump, a motor coupled to the pump, and a controller in communication with the motor. The controller receives input of a performance value that is determined utilizing information from operation of the motor and compares the performance value to a reference value. The controller also is configured to prime and run the pump when the performance value equals the first reference value and to continue to do so until the performance value equals a second reference value. Alternatively, the controller receives user input of an amount of time the system can take to attempt to successfully prime the pump and is configured to operate the motor at maximum speed until the amount of time elapses.
