  • Publication number: 20220285971
Abstract: A method can comprise determining, by a first controller comprising a processor, of a first vehicle, a first voltage rating of a first battery of the first vehicle and a state of charge of the first battery. In various embodiments, the method can further comprise determining, by the first controller, based on an output of a second controller of a second vehicle, a second voltage rating of a second battery of the second vehicle and a state of charge of the second battery. In further embodiments, the method can further comprise in response to a determination, by the first controller, that the first voltage rating matches the second voltage rating, transferring, by the first controller, power from the first battery to the second battery, wherein the state of charge of the first battery is greater than the state of charge of the second battery.

  • Publication number: 20220278529
Abstract: An electric vehicle battery system is provided. In some embodiments, the electric vehicle battery system can comprise a battery pack comprising a first battery and a second battery. In various embodiments, a first bidirectional direct current to alternating current (DC-AC) converter can be electrically coupled to the first battery and to a first bidirectional high-voltage (HV) alternating current to direct current (AC-DC) converter. In various implementations, a second bidirectional DC-AC converter can be coupled to the second battery and to a second bidirectional HV AC-DC converter. In further embodiments, and a power factor correction AC-DC module can be electrically coupled to the first bidirectional HV AC-DC converter via a first switch and the second bidirectional HV AC-DC converter via a second switch.

  • Publication number: 20220274496
Abstract: An electric vehicle charging system is provided. In some embodiments, the electric vehicle charging system can comprise a three-phase electric motor and an inverter. The inverter can be connected to the three-phase electric motor and to a battery. In various implementations, the inverter can comprise a switch and a capacitor. In further implementations, the switch can close to precharge a capacitor to a defined fraction of a voltage of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20220278541
Abstract: An electric vehicle charging system is provided. In some embodiments, the electric vehicle charging system can comprise an electric motor drive system comprising a three-phase electric motor and an inverter. In various embodiments, a negative cable can be connected to an electric vehicle inlet and a battery. In further embodiments, a booster charging cable can be connected to a star-point of the three-phase electric motor and to a positive pole of the electric vehicle inlet, wherein the booster charging cable bypasses a connection between the positive pole and the battery.
