  • Publication number: 20230294260
Abstract: A piston guiding element, rock drilling machine and method for supporting a front end portion of a percussion piston of a rock drilling machine. The piston guiding element includes a braking recess at its rear end. The element further includes at least one bearing sleeve, which is provided with two axially successive slide bearing sections. Hydraulic fluid is conveyed between the slide bearing sections via a feed system.

  • Publication number: 20150129269
Abstract: An impact device and a method of dismounting an impact device from a breaking device is disclosed. The impact device includes a bush having a percussion piston disposed therein. The impact device is arranged inside an impact device space formed in a frame of a breaking device. The percussion piston is provided with a pull shoulder allowing a dismounting force in a return direction to be transmitted from the percussion piston to the bush. Thus, the bush is extracted from the frame by means of the percussion piston.

  • Patent number: 8733467
Abstract: A rock drilling machine equipped with an axial bearing having at least one axial piston for setting the axial position of a drill shank and for damping stress pulses returning from the rock. The axial bearing includes a module that is detachable in one piece from one installation direction. The axial bearing module includes all necessary seals, bearing surfaces, and a module frame. Supporting forces caused by the operation of the axial bearing are transmitted of support members in the module frame directly to the body of the rock drilling machine, which is a uniform piece at least at the axial bearing.
