  • Publication number: 20220340110
Abstract: A method for controlling an anti-lock braking system in a motor vehicle. The control is carried out based on a wheel slip of at least one of the wheels. A wheel circumferential speed and a groundspeed in the longitudinal direction of the wheel being taken into account to compute the wheel slip. The groundspeed being estimated in terms of value and direction based on signals from sensors that describe all six degrees of freedom in space.

  • Patent number: 10146747
Abstract: An automotive text display arrangement is described which includes a driver text display positioned directly in front of an automobile driver and displaying a limited amount of text to the driver without impairing forward visual attention of the driver. The arrangement may include a boundary insertion mode wherein when the active text position is an active text boundary, new text is inserted between the text items separated by the active text boundary, and when the active text position is an active text item, new text replaces the active text item. In addition or alternatively, there may be a multifunctional text control knob offering multiple different user movements, each performing an associated text processing function.

  • Patent number: 9969425
Abstract: A rear wheel steering system in a vehicle. The system includes a rear wheel steering actuator, a vehicle speed sensor, and an electronic control unit. The rear wheel steering actuator is coupled to a rear wheel of the vehicle and controls a steering angle of the rear wheel. The electronic control unit is coupled to the rear wheel steering actuator and the vehicle speed sensor and is configured to determine a speed of the vehicle and to limit the steering angle of the rear wheel based on the speed of the vehicle and a fault tolerant time of the rear wheel steering system.

  • Patent number: 9236045
Abstract: Techniques for presenting data input as a plurality of data chunks including a first data chunk and a second data chunk. The techniques include converting the plurality of data chunks to a textual representation comprising a plurality of text chunks including a first text chunk corresponding to the first data chunk and a second text chunk corresponding to the second data chunk, respectively, and providing a presentation of at least part of the textual representation such that the first text chunk is presented differently than the second text chunk to, when presented, assist a user in proofing the textual representation.
