At least one structural part has at least one first opening having a first diameter for partially accommodating the fitting, and at least one fastening region surrounding the first opening for fastening the fitting. The fastening region is reinforced relative to the other regions of the structural part by an additional part which has a second opening having a second diameter. The additional part is fixedly connected to the structural part, and the fitting is fixedly connected to the additional part and is at least partially inserted into the second opening.

Abstract: In a vehicle seat, in particular a motor vehicle seat, having a seat part, a rest and retaining elements for securing a child seat which is placed on the seat part of the vehicle seat, wherein the child seat can be connected to at least a first retaining element by means of at least one connector in its lower region and can be connected to at least a second retaining element by means of at least one retaining belt in its upper region, and wherein the rest has a rest frame and a cushion which is held by the rest frame, the second retaining element simultaneously supports the cushion.

At least one structural component (15) has at least one opening (16) for partially receiving the fitting (11, 12) and at least one mounting area (18) enclosing the opening (16) for mounting the fitting (10), by at least one weld seam (19) between the mounting area (18) and one of the two fitting components (11, 12).
