  • Publication number: 20260011816
Abstract: A temperature control plate includes an upper and a lower cover plate, and a support plate connected to the upper and lower cover plates. The support plate includes a temperature control channel profiling forming upper and lower temperature control channels between the support plate and the upper and lower cover plates, with the upper temperature control channels running between the upper cover plate and the support plate and with the lower temperature control channels running between the lower cover plate and the support plate. The support plate includes through openings to connect the upper and lower temperature control channels with one another such as to realize a deflection of a temperature control medium. The through openings exhibit different diameters depending on a length of a path of the temperature control medium from a temperature control medium port to the through openings, with the diameter increasing as the path becomes longer.

  • Publication number: 20250316789
Abstract: A battery carrier for an electric vehicle having a battery tray produced as a hot-formed and press-hardened component from a sheet steel plate, having a floor and side walls rising from the floor with a flange encircling the top of the battery tray and projecting outwards. A cooling channel structure is formed integrally in the floor and made from one material, wherein a cover plate is arranged on the floor in the battery tray or a cover plate is arranged underneath the floor of the battery tray in such a way that cooling channels are formed between the cooling channel structure and the cover plate.

  • Publication number: 20240387904
Abstract: A temperature control arrangement includes a battery housing for accommodating battery modules for an electrically powered vehicle, and a temperature control plate which includes a fluid channel having a channel opening and which includes a connection opening. The temperature control is welded circumferentially to the battery housing via a first weld seam which is located on a side of the temperature control plate facing away from the battery housing. A cap is welded to the temperature control plate in a fluid-tight manner via a second weld seam such that the first weld seam and the second weld seam intersect. The cap partially covers the first weld seam and includes an overflow channel to connect the channel opening and the connection opening in a fluid-conducting manner, with the temperature control plate and the cap lying opposite to one another at least in one section in the overflow channel.

  • Patent number: 8628296
Abstract: An exhaust-gas turbocharger includes a bearing flange for securement of the exhaust-gas turbocharger to a bearing housing of a turbine wheel. The bearing flange is provided with an outer circumferential fin having a base portion which terminates in a free end. The base portion is defined by a width which is greater than a width of the free end. An outer housing is welded to the outer circumferential fin of the bearing flange, and accommodates an impeller housing.
