  • Patent number: 11947432
Abstract: A bus system for a process system, having a first bus subscriber which transmits bus messages and having at least one first bus subscriber which receives bus messages, wherein the transmitting first bus subscriber and the receiving first bus subscriber are connected to one another via a first data bus, wherein the transmitting first bus subscriber is designed such that it transmits control commands to the receiving first bus subscriber, wherein the receiving first bus subscriber is designed such that it executes the control commands of the transmitting first bus subscriber and achieves the object of providing a bus system that is designed to be fail-safe in a special way.

  • Patent number: 9992613
Abstract: A method for connecting a field device (1) to an operating unit (2), and a field device (1) for use therewith, via which a connection between a field device and an operating unit can be implemented when the field device is mounted at a location that is difficult to access is achieved in that a query signal is transmitted to the field device (1) by the operating unit (2) and that a response signal is generated by the field device (1) as a reaction to the query signal, in that the field device (1) generates a blinking display and/or a change in color of the display and/or an acoustic signal and/or a change in an acoustic signal.

  • Publication number: 20170328751
Abstract: A method for detection of pipeline vibrations with a measuring instrument connected to a pipeline system through which a medium to be measured flows, the measuring instrument having at least one transducer for detection of an input variable and for output of an output variable and at least one evaluation unit. The method involves detecting the input variable, relaying of an output variable based on the input variable to the evaluation unit, determinating the measured value of the measured variable from the output variable. Monitoring of the operating state of a system is achieved in that the measured variable characterizes the medium located within the pipeline system, that the sampling rate for detection of the input variable is at least twice as high as the frequency of the pipeline vibration and a frequency analysis of the brief fluctuations of the measured variable is conducted.
