Publication number: 20120321619Abstract: The present invention provides recombinant antigen-binding regions and antibodies and functional fragments containing such antigen-binding regions that are specific for the membrane-anchored, 29 kDa C4.4a polypeptide, which is over expressed in several tumors, e.g. lung, colorectal, pancreas, prostate, renal and breast cancer. These antibodies, accordingly, can be used to treat these and other disorders and conditions. Antibodies of the invention also can be used in the diagnostics field, as well as for further investigating the role of C4.4a in the progression of disorders associated with cancer. The invention also provides nucleic acid sequences encoding the foregoing antibodies, vectors containing the same, pharmaceutical compositions and kits with instructions for use.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2010Publication date: December 20, 2012Applicant: BAYER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY GMBHInventors: Lars Linden, Yong-Jiang Cao, Gabriele Leder, Beatrix Stelte-ludwig, Axel Harrenga, Ricarda Finnern, Frank Dittmer, Anke Mayer-Bartschmid, Juergen Franz, Simone Greven, Jörg Willuda, Jan Tebbe

Patent number: 6958983Abstract: A method and system are provided for optimal routing of calls in an Internet Protocol-based Base Station System (IP-based BSS), whereby a plurality of new messages are introduced on the A-interface. One such message informs the BSS that the Circuit Identity Codes (CICs) included in the message can be connected to the BSS to provide optimal routing of one or more calls. Another such message informs the BSS that the CICs included in the message are to be restored as separate CICs on the A-interface. The provision of such messages overcomes the significant disadvantages of the existing and developing BSS implementations.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2000Date of Patent: October 25, 2005Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Niilo Musikka, Lars Lindén, Lennart Rinnbäck, Peter Galyas

Patent number: 6792717Abstract: A sliding door operating mechanism for a vehicle to provide access to the vehicle through an opening in a wall thereof, includes at least one sliding door and a reciprocating power mechanism and a transmission mechanism for transmitting movement of power to the door for performing opening, closing and locking movements thereof. A beam structure carries the door, the power mechanism and the transmission mechanism. The beam structure extends across and is accommodated within an upper portion of the opening so as to be slidingly movably driven by the power mechanism between a relatively retracted position within the opening, in which the door is located in a first plane in a closed position confirmed within the opening, and a relatively less retracted position, in which the door is located in a second plane exteriorly of the opening allowing movement of the door along the second plane.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2003Date of Patent: September 21, 2004Assignee: Hubner GmbHInventors: Johan Carlsson, Lars Linden, Martin Persson

Patent number: 6724746Abstract: The present invention relates to a packet data communication system and is primarily intended for packet data radio communication systems, such as a GSM-system (PLMN) supporting a GPRS-service. A data frame received from a connected second packet data network (Internet) is divided into a sequence of data segments (DS). Speech packets (SPP) with an origin from a connected telecommunication network and the segments (DS) and are transmitted over a packet data link (PL1) to a radio base station (BTS) with priority given to the speech packets (SPP). The data segments (DS) shall be transmitted on a corresponding radio link (RL2) to a designated mobile station (MS). The problem is that during high traffic loads the segments are subjected to long delays and as a result no segments can be transmitted on the corresponding radio link. Giving priority to a first few data segments of the sequence when transmitted over the packet data link (PL1) solves the problem.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2000Date of Patent: April 20, 2004Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget LM EricssonInventor: Lars Lindén
