Abstract: The present invention provides a new approach to decreasing water use, energy consumption, chemical use and sewage expense in commercial kitchen operations by reusing drain water and recovering the heat energy, thereby reducing operation costs. The invention, however, is not limited to kitchen operations, it could be applied to other operations that produce greywater and could benefit from reusing water and resources.
