  • Publication number: 20220232866
Abstract: A method of processing a fava bean composition is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of: i. providing a fava bean composition comprising fava beans, and ii. subjecting the fava bean composition to a betaglucosidase and at least one lactobacillus plantarum bacteria under dosage, time and temperature conditions selected so as to be sufficient to reduce the content of at least one of the compounds vicine and convicine, and preferably also at least one of the compounds divicine and isouramil, by at least 90 wt % as compared to the content of said compounds in the fava bean composition provided in step i. A fava bean composition obtained by the method as well as methods of producing food compositions using the fava bean composition and food compositions thus produced are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080121367
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for temporary reduction of electrical power consumption for cooling of buildings where the cooling energy is stored in slab or wall, comprising the step of storing cooling energy in at least some part of the slab (4) or the wall (1,2,3) by means of that, during at least one period of time when the electrical transmission network system can supply the necessary electrical cooling machine power, supply cooling machine cooled supply air to channels (5) arranged in the slab (4) or the wall (1,2,3), and the step that, during at least one period of time when the electrical transmission network system is highly loaded, reduce the electrical power consumption of the cooling machine (28) and at the same time convey supply air through the building through the mentioned channels (5), which supply air when entering the channel (5) is warmer than the surrounding slab surface or wall surface adjacent to supply air terminal devices (6), hereby using the earlier in the slab (4) or wall (1,2,

  • Patent number: 6047738
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for closing of at least one end of a tube to protect the tube (8) against internal dirtying. According to the method, a strip (5) comprising a number of plugs (4) is fed up to a position in front of a tube (8) situated in a punch sleeve (9), at said position a plug (4) in the strip (5) is in a position just in front of the tube end (12), whereupon a punch (7) presses the strip (5) with the plug (4) against the tube (8) and the punch sleeve (9), so that the punch (7) in the end of its working stroke after pressing the plug (4) into the tube end (12) is punching out the plug (4) from said strip (5). The plug (4) formed for closing of a tube end is together with plugs, formed in the same way, integrally formed one after another at a predetermined distance in a longitudinal row in a continuous strip (5).

  • Patent number: 4830275
Abstract: This is a system for the air conditioning of rooms in building, which rooms are defined by concrete floor structures with hollow ducts connected in series in parallel with each other and in groups, in order to bring about effective heat exchange between concrete and supply air flowing through each duct group before being fed to the room via a supply air device. The supply air to each duct group is taken via a pipe connection from a main duct for supply air and is evacuated from the room in another way. In order to control the heat absorbtion (heat inertia) of the duct group according to the actual demand for each room so that the air-flows in each of the two connections of the duct group are balanced corresponding to the actual cold/heat demand. Each or some certain duct groups in the room includes a branching device (16) which is located between the main duct (5), or a branch thereof, and a second connecting place (11) to the duct group.

  • Patent number: 4544093
Abstract: When a packaging container is formed by sealing an area of sheet material to the edge of another area of sheet material, the L-joint or T-joint so formed is sometimes liable to rupture when subjected to blows or strain. According to this invention that danger is reduced or eliminated by moulding a zone (4) of an end closure panel (3) abutting on the container wall edge to which it is jointed so that it forms a flange resting against and bonded to the face of said wall (1). The flange may be provided with a lip (6) projecting from a short length of the edge of said closure panel.
