The memory arranged to store at least one address string, and the processor configured to compare the called address string with the at least one stored address string. If the received called address string corresponds to one of the at least one stored address string the processor configured to cause the called address string to be output as a single signalling message.

When an H.248 control link is established between the Access Gateway and the Soft Switch, the Soft Switch downloads the current dial plan to the Access Gateway. The downloaded information includes termination IDs and Directory Numbers/Subscriber Numbers, DN/SNBs, for all of the users connected to the Access Gateway. Whenever the Soft Switch receives changes to the dial plan, the Soft Switch updates the user dial plan in the Access Gateway.

Abstract: An apparatus in a telecommunication system provides access to telecommunication services to subscribers at user terminals. Each terminal is separately connected to at least one access point via a xDSL modem and a communication network. The access point includes one or more xDSL modems with filters. As a result, a large number of subscribers can be connected in a short period of time, and the subscribers can consider the establishment of the connection as plug-and-play.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus in a telecommunication system for providing access to telecommunication services to subscribers at user terminals each of which being separately connected to at least one access point via high speed modems and a communication network the at least one access point comprising high speed modems with filters. By means of the invention, a large number of subscribers can be connected in a short period of time, and the subscribers can consider the establishment of the connection as plug-and-play.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus to establish both telephone and digital communication through an interface between a subscriber unit and a Local Exchange on a telecommunication line intended for digital traffic, for instance an ISDN-line. For the telephone communication, the subscriber unit and the Local Exchange are communicating by transmitting packages according to a protocol comprising PSTN speech communication together with at least service functions through an interface between the subscriber unit and the Local Exchange.

Abstract: Communication traffic for sets connected to the same access network is controlled where every call request is linked to a local exchange. A protocol in the access network and the local exchange makes it possible to connect sets connected to the access network to communicate with each other. An identifying device in the local exchange identifies call request signals having the destiny to the same access network from which a call request comes from in order to send back an allocation signal to set up the call inside the access network according to the protocol without having a pathway for the call in question between the access network and the local exchange during the call connection. Calls to sets not connected to the same access network are set up and served in the same way.

Abstract: An arrangement and a method provide access between a number of user stations connected by radio via a number of radio base stations and a switching arrangement of a telecommunication network. At least one access network is provided, and it connects to the switching arrangement over at least one interface. A radio access network including a number of base stations is provided which also includes the access network. An address field of an addressing mechanism of the interface between the access network and the switching arrangement is so structured that it includes a first part for addressing base stations and a second part for addressing/identifying selected bearer channels on the existing interface.
