Abstract: A method for the surface treatment of clay, ceramic or cementitious articles, especially roofing tiles, comprising providing a hardenable, water-containing mass (1) shaped in the form of the article, then covering an exposed surface area of the article with a flexible membrane (3), such as a plastics film, having an upper-surface and a smooth under-surface, such that the latter is in intimate contact with and conforms to the contours of that surface area of the article, thereby providing a membrane-covered area of the article, vibrating the membrane-covered area of the article, for example via a vibrator head (6) applied to a rigid plate (5) overlaid on the membrane, such that vibration is transmitted through the membrane, to the surface of the article, and either removing the membrane then hardening the article, or at least partially hardening the article with the membrane in place.

Abstract: A method of entering, structuring, storing and transferring data using a hierarchical data model and flat forms. The method includes the following three steps, which typically are performed during the design phase: Selecting a first form from a plurality of forms, alternatively creating said first form by use of a form tool, said first form comprising a number of fields, each having an individual field name, obtaining a field name list from a hierarchical data model, where the field names of the field name list contain information on the data types for the fields of said first form as well as hierarchical information, said field names being defined in accordance with a predefined naming convention, and creating by use of the form tool and the information in the field name list the HTML-code for displaying said first form in an HTML browser.

Abstract: Disclosed are constitutively active nuclear orphan receptors (CAR), which include one or more mutations which decrease the constitutive nature of CAR in vitro. The resulting non constitutively active nuclear orphan receptors can be used to screen for agents that metabolize xenochemicals and/or steroids.

Based thereon, a workflow including a logical sequence of interdependent steps to be made is created using an assessment system. A number of workflow steps are presented to the user in a logical order, and results from the progress of one or more steps may be gathered. The workflow may be modified thereon, if needed, using sub-solutions, logic rules, inference rules and said results by adding and/or removing steps to/from said workflow based on a list of purposes and knowledge of the order in which some or all steps must be made. After modifying the workflow, the presentation thereof is started by the next or more unfinished steps which are not dependent on an unfinished step, thereby forming an adaptive procedure.

Abstract: A toy element having a thin, flexible material as well as a holder for it is provided. The toy element may be used in the construction of a doll house for which it constitutes a curtain and the suspension, in the form of a rod, for the curtain. An elongated cavity having a longitudinal slot through which the flexible material extends is provided in the holder. A locking part couples to the holder and secures the rod holding the curtain in position.
