  • Publication number: 20220212578
Abstract: A seat cover is configured to be disposable on a seat to provide selectively adjustable support to a user seated on the seat. The seat cover comprises a cover layer configured to be extendable over at least a portion of the seat. A pump is connected to the cover layer and is configured to supply fluid under pressure. A first bladder compartment is connected to the pump to receive fluid under pressure therefrom. A second bladder compartment is also connected to the pump to receive fluid under pressure therefrom. A manifold is fluidly connected to the pump, the first bladder compartment, and the second bladder compartment. The manifold is configured to selectively direct fluid from the pump to the first and second bladder compartments to achieve a first prescribed pressure in the first bladder compartment and a second prescribed pressure in the second bladder compartment.

  • Patent number: 10646049
Abstract: A seat cushion that provides enhanced comfort and support for a user, comprises a base surface and a plurality of air cells that are positioned on and extend generally upwardly away from the base surface. The plurality of air cells include (i) a first paired air cell having a first upper surface, the entire first upper surface being angled in a first direction relative to the base surface; and (ii) a second paired air cell having a second upper surface, the entire second upper surface being angled in a second direction relative to the base surface that is different than the first direction. The second paired air cell is positioned adjacent to the first paired air cell. Additionally, the first paired air cell and the second paired air cell cooperate to provide a substantially concave combined upper surface.

  • Publication number: 20180237091
Abstract: A seat back support assembly comprises a vehicle engaging member and a seat back receiving member. The vehicle engaging member is configured to be secured to a vehicle body. The vehicle engaging member includes a supporting section. The seat back receiving member includes (i) a base that is adjustably coupled to the supporting section, and (ii) a receiver that is coupled to the base, the receiver being configured to receive the seat back. The base is alternately positioned in a first vertical position and a second vertical position relative to the supporting section. When the base is in the first vertical position, the seat back is at a first height relative to the vehicle seat. Alternatively, when the base is in the second vertical position, the seat back is at a second height relative to the vehicle seat that is different than the first height.
