  • Publication number: 20260161628
Abstract: The subject technology identifies a change interval for a table. The subject technology determines a set of unregistered partitions and a set of registered partitions within the change interval. The subject technology identifies one or more partition lineage graphs (PLGs) connecting partitions in the set of unregistered partitions with partitions in the set of registered partitions. The subject technology determines a first set of changes from one or more PLGs. The subject technology determines a second set of changes from a set of remaining partitions in the set of unregistered partitions with partitions in the set of registered partitions. The subject technology consolidates the first set of changes determined from one or more PLGs and the second set of changes from the set of remaining partitions to generate a final set of changes for the table within the change interval.

  • Publication number: 20260134121
Abstract: The subject technology stores an original file master key identifier (FMKID) in metadata associated with an encrypted file, the encrypted file including data. The subject technology determines that the encrypted file is to be re-encrypted based at least on a period of time since the original FMKID was stored. The subject technology re-encrypts the data using a new encryption key associated with a new FMKID. The subject technology generates a mapping from the original FMKID to the new FMKID. The subject technology stores the mapping in a metadata database, the mapping being associated with a re-encrypted file, the re-encrypted file including the re-encrypted data.

  • Publication number: 20260099473
Abstract: The subject technology receives a first query, the first query comprising a first set of statements, the first set of statements including at least a first statement for performing a first Data Manipulation Language (DML) operation on a first table, the first table included in a source file. The subject technology executes the first query, the executing including determining whether to perform a copy-on-write (CoW) process. subject technology performs a CoW fallback process. The subject technology performs the copy-on-write process for the first query based on a result of the CoW fallback process.

  • Publication number: 20260099487
Abstract: The subject technology receives a first query. The subject technology determines a set of rows that are modified based on performing the first DML operation on the first table, the set of rows including a first set of updated rows. The subject technology generates a first delta file based on the determined set of rows. The subject technology generates a first updated rows file based on a first set of updated rows. The subject technology determines a second set of rows of the first table that have not been modified by performing the first DML operation on the first table. The subject technology generates a first residual file based on the second set of rows. The subject technology performs a validation process to validate the first DML operation using at least the first delta file, the first residual file, and a matching CoW file.

  • Patent number: 12505081
Abstract: The subject technology provides modifying data in a partition stores a version identifier and a set of physical row positions in a header, including minimum and maximum value occurrences for each column. When a query to modify data is received, the subject technology determines which rows to modify, checks eligibility for skipping partition scanning, and compares the to-be-modified positions with the stored positions. If no stored positions are modified, the subject technology skips scanning and maintains existing statistics, and creates a new combined partition without recalculating statistics. If modifications are made, the subject technology evaluates eligibility for processing using delta files and a bitset, or performs a copy-on-write process if ineligible.

  • Patent number: 12403882
Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling the brakes of a vehicle combination that includes a tractor vehicle and at least one trailer vehicle. A brake control valve in the tractor vehicle has magnetic switching valves that controlled by an electronic control unit, including an inlet valve and an outlet valve. To determine a current trailer status, it is determined whether the tractor vehicle is connected to a trailer vehicle and/or the line volume of the brake control line. A target pressure to be produced in the brake control line is specified and is produced by pulse-like opening of the inlet valve and/or the outlet valve. The brake control pressure in the brake control line is measured during the pressure build-up of pressure and a characteristic value for the trailer status and/or for the line volume of the brake control line is determined.

  • Patent number: 12151662
Abstract: A method of brake control of a vehicle combination (2) composed of a tractor vehicle (4) with an electronically controlled braking system (5) and a trailer vehicle (6, 8) with a pneumatically controlled pneumatic braking system (7, 9), involves introducing the brake control pressure (pBC) of the trailer vehicle (6, 8) into a tractor brake control line (19) extending to a tractor vehicle-side “brake” coupling head (26) via an electronically controlled trailer control valve (13) of the tractor vehicle (4). At the beginning of a braking operation, a pressure pulse (34) exceeding a target brake control pressure (pBC_soll) is introduced into the tractor brake control line (19). The volume of a trailer brake control line (28, 29, 32) coupled to the “brake” coupling head (26) is ascertained, and the absolute value (?pPI) and/or the duration (?tPI) of the pressure pulse (34) introduced are/is established depending on the ascertained volume.

  • Patent number: 12049209
Abstract: A valve arrangement (14.2) of a tractor vehicle (2) for controlling a pneumatic brake system of a trailer vehicle (4) includes a trailer control valve (16) with a reservoir pressure input (p11) for the introduction of reservoir compressed air and a reservoir pressure output (p21) for the controlled discharge of reservoir compressed air. The reservoir pressure output is pneumatically connected to a “reservoir” coupling head (6) of the tractor vehicle. A shut-off and ventilation valve (98) is arranged in a reservoir pressure line (48) upstream of the “reservoir” coupling head. Before connecting an associated coupling head of the trailer vehicle (4) to the “reservoir” coupling head of the tractor vehicle, the feed of reservoir compressed air to the “reservoir” coupling head can be shut off to ventilate the “reservoir” coupling head. After reconnecting the associated coupling head, the “reservoir” coupling head can be charged again.

  • Patent number: 12038924
Abstract: In an embodiment, a data platform receives a query that includes a two-sided N dimensional interval join of first and second input relations, where N>1. The two-sided N dimensional interval join has an interval-join predicate that, in each of N dimensions, compares intervals determined from the first and second input relations. The data platform implements the interval join at least in part by identifying an intermediate relation that includes all combinations of a row from the first input relation and a row from the second input relation where, in each of the N dimensions, the intervals determined from the first and second input relations both overlap a common N dimensional domain region of an input domain of the first and second input relations. The data platform obtains and returns results of the query.

  • Patent number: 11537614
Abstract: In an embodiment, a data platform receives a query that includes a two-sided N dimensional interval join of first and second input relations. The data platform samples, with respect to each of one or more of the N dimensions, one or both of the first input relation and the second input relation with respect to an interval size of an interval determined from the input relation. The data platform demarcates the N dimensional input domain into non-overlapping N dimensional input-domain cells based on the sampling. The data platform implements the interval join using a query-execution plan that includes an equality join that is keyed on input-domain-cell identifiers of input-domain cells that at least partially overlap bounding polygons of the intervals determined from the first and second input relations. The equality join is followed in the query-execution plan by a filter that applies the interval-join predicate. The data platform obtains results of the query by executing the query-execution plan.

  • Patent number: 11494379
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for pre-filter deduplication for multidimensional two-sided interval joins. In an embodiment, a data platform receives query instructions for a two-sided N dimensional interval join, where N is an integer greater than 1. The two-sided N dimensional interval join has an interval-join predicate that compares intervals determined from the input relations in each of N dimensions. The data platform implements the two-sided N dimensional interval join as a query-plan section that includes an N dimensional band join that is followed by a deduplication operator that is followed by a filter that applies the interval-join predicate. The N dimensional band join includes a hash join keyed to N dimensional domain cells overlapped at least in part by intervals determined from the input relations in each of the N dimensions. The deduplication operator removes duplicate rows from a potential-duplicates subset of the output of the N dimensional band join.
