Abstract: Suspension systems for loudspeakers are disclosed. A loudspeaker can include a frame, a diaphragm flexibly attached to the frame, and a motor for driving the diaphragm. The motor can include a magnetic element and a voice coil. The loudspeaker can additionally include a suspension system with a coil holder coupled to the voice coil, a flat spring coupling the coil holder and the frame, and a compensating element associated with the flat spring.
