    Abstract: An artificial nail apparatus includes an artificial nail with an upper surface, an opposing lower surface, and an end. The apparatus also includes a bridge having a first end fastened to the artificial nail at an engagement location and an opposing second end. A nail facing surface of the opposing lower surface is between the engagement location and the end. A digit receiving space is between the nail facing surface and the bridge and a digit engaging element is carried by the second end.
