  • Publication number: 20140375284
Abstract: A power transfer device includes an input terminal, an output terminal, a control unit, and a drive unit. The input terminal can receive an input voltage. The output terminal can provide an output voltage. The control unit can control a switch between the input and output terminals to adjust the output voltage according to the input voltage and a reference voltage, wherein said control unit is deactivated if the reference voltage reaches the input voltage. The drive unit can connect the control unit and the switch if the control unit is activated, and can maintain the output voltage at or near the input voltage if the control unit is deactivated.

  • Publication number: 20080150628
Abstract: An amplifier that receives an input signal and outputs an amplified output signal includes an integration stage, a comparison stage, and a full bridge circuit. The integration stage is be used for receiving a constant common mode voltage, for receiving a first signal representing the input signal of the amplifier, and for generating a ramp signal. The comparison stage coupled to the integration stage is used for generating a pulse width modulation signal according to the ramp signal and according to a hysteretic signal. The full bridge circuit coupled to the comparison stage is used for receiving a power supply and the pulse width modulation signal, and for generating the output of the amplifier.

  • Patent number: 6678178
Abstract: A DC to DC converter includes a comparator, a driver, and a pair of switches. The comparator compares the output voltage with a reference voltage signal and generates a PWM signal. The driver drives the switches so as to force the output voltage to follow the reference signal. In a multiphase architecture, two or more such converter circuits are incorporated to minimize the output voltage ripple and further reduce the recovery time. In a two-phase architecture, two reference signals are phase-shifted by 180 degrees. In an N-phase architecture, the reference signals are phase-shifted by 360/N degrees.
