  • Patent number: 11931244
Abstract: The invention relates to an artificial ophthalmic lens (20) containing an anterior optical surface (21) and a posterior optical surface (22), at least one of which contains a multifocal optical diffractive profile (25). A cross apodized profile part (25?) is formed on the diffractive profile (25) wherein phase shifting elements (27) are provided alternately forming the elements of a decreasingly apodized series (40) and an increasingly apodized series (41) in such a way that the decreasing and increasing elements of the two series (40, 41) form envelope curves that meet at a common intersection point (45). The invention further relates to a method for the production of such an artificial ophthalmic lens (20).

  • Patent number: 11426271
Abstract: The invention relates to a trifocal artificial ophthalmic lens (20), which contains an anterior side optical surface (21), a posterior side optical surface (22) and an optical axis (23), at least one of the anterior side optical surface (21) and the posterior side optical surface (22) contains an optics having three useful focal points and having an at least partially diffractive profile. The three useful focal points correspond to focal points (31, 32) belonging to the 0th and 1st diffraction orders of the diffractive profile, and to a focal point (33) belonging to an enhanced diffractive secondary peaks between the 0th and the 1st diffraction orders. The invention also relates to a method of producing the aforementioned trifocal artificial ophthalmic lens.

  • Publication number: 20210059811
Abstract: For a safe injection of intraocular lenses, IOL, (1) an injector is provided comprising a cartridge (5) with a nozzle tube (8), a lens case (6), an injector body (2), an injection plunger (4) and a loading pusher (3). The cartridge (5) comprises two winglets (12, 13) connected to each other providing an open and a close position for the cartridge (5), the inner surface of the winglets forming an inner space for receiving the IOL, and moving the IOL (1) during closing the cartridge (5) from a level of loading plane (16), where the axis of the inner space coincides with the axis of the loading pusher, to a level of injection plane (17), where the axis of the inner space coincides with the axis of the injection plunger. The lens case (6) is attached to the injector body behind the cartridge and in an advantageous embodiments has an upper position and a lower position for preloaded IOL (1).

  • Publication number: 20210059812
Abstract: The object of the invention relates to an artificial ophthalmic lens (20) that contains an anterior optical surface (21) and a posterior optical surface (22), where the anterior optical surface (21) and the posterior optical surface (22) have a common optical axis (23), and at least one of the anterior optical surface (21) and the posterior optical surface (22) is a multifocal optics (24) that at least partly has a multifocal optical diffractive profile (25). A cross apodized profile part (25?) is formed on the diffractive profile (25), in other words phase shifting elements (27) are provided on the diffractive profile (25) that alternately form the elements of a decreasingly apodized series (40) and an increasingly (reversed) apodized series (41) in such a way that the decreasing and increasing elements of the two series (40, 41) form envelope curves that meet at a common intersection point (45).

  • Publication number: 20150045805
Abstract: An injection assembly for a flexible intraocular lens, includes an injector body (1) accommodating a sliding push member (2), and a compaction and ejection chamber (3) rigidly connected to the injector body. The injection assembly includes a cartridge (6) receiving an intraocular lens (7) in a non-stressed state, the cartridge (6) being stored separately in a sterile container (32), and the compaction and injection chamber (3) is pivotably connected to the distal end of the injector body so as to be capable of occupying two positions, namely: a cartridge-loading position, in which the chamber is folded along the injector body, and an injection position, in which the chamber is aligned with the injector body. A tab (4) makes it possible to release the push member (2) when the tab is placed in a position for locking the compaction and injection chamber in a closed position on the injector body.
