Abstract: A system and method for system for compilation of merchant specific sales and promotional information, relating to products and services available from such merchants, with a given geographic market or locality. The compilation is offered to consumers on a machine readable medium to permit consumer sorting and retrieval of product and service specific information available with the locality, from merchants located within the geographic market or locality of the target consumer. The medium is useable independent of an internet server of web browser, and, is, thus, intended to promote local enterprise and consumer traffic within merchants' places of business. The compilation of product and service information on the medium includes an internal clock and expiration date to insure that the consumer is not mislead as to the date of expiration of a promotion or sale.
