  • Patent number: 12618872
Abstract: A current sensing system includes a busbar connected in a current path between a power supply and a load. The busbar includes a temperature dependent resistance with a specific temperature coefficient. An amplifier is configured to sense a voltage difference across a section of the busbar caused by a current in the current path. The current sensing system includes a temperature compensation circuit, wherein the temperature compensation circuit is effective as a temperature dependent resistance with a temperature coefficient which has a sign opposite from the resistance of the busbar. A first input of a comparator is directly or indirectly connected to a second terminal of the signal conditioning circuit. The current sensing system includes a logic circuitry, which is configured to control a state of a switch, which is disposed in the current path dependent on an output signal of the comparator.

  • Publication number: 20240239422
Abstract: A flexible tail may maximize an aerodynamic profile of a vehicle. The flexible tail may include a pyramidal structure formed by inflatable tubes disposed within a casing of flexible, tear-resistant material. The flexible tail may have integrated bungee ropes operable to adjust, fold, or retract the flexible tail for storage. Geometry and flexibility of the tail may reduce wake at the rear of the vehicle, reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11362945
Abstract: A method is implemented by a network device to dynamically optimize lookup speed in a packet processing table maintained at the network device while the network device is in operation. The method includes determining one or more runtime metrics of the packet processing table, selecting a lookup algorithm for the packet processing table from a set of lookup algorithms supported by the network device based on the one or more runtime metrics of the packet processing table, and configuring the network device to match incoming packets against rules in the packet processing table using the selected lookup algorithm for the packet processing table.

  • Publication number: 20180079505
Abstract: An oval lifting-body airplane may generate lift without wings. It may be propelled by a pivoting propulsion engine attached to an upper surface, allowing it to fly substantially parallel to the oval's major axis or the oval's minor axis, allowing different configurations for landing and takeoff than for cruising.

  • Patent number: 4605836
Abstract: A process for maintaining weld quality during welding operation, marking the fault spots on the workpiece and certifying of quality, in the course of which instantaneous values of arc current and arc voltage characterizing manual or mechanized welding process are continuously measured and from the values thus obtained relative short-circuit time of the arc, drop frequency and arc outputs are continuously calculated. The measured and calculated values are compared with empirically determined optimal values, thus defining absolute values and signals representing the directions of deviations, as well as duration of deviations, are compared on a predetermined span of time and averages of absolute values and signals representing the directions are defined.
