Abstract: A novel decorative lighting assembly is disclosed comprising, in certain embodiments, a strand of light bulbs engaged within light bulb sockets. The light bulb socket comprises a clip that is permanently affixed or integrally molded to the exterior surface of the socket. The clip is configured to engage a portion of complementarily configured fixture, such as an ornamental wire display, a building, or tree, for example.
