    Abstract: An article of footwear having an upper and a sole structure includes a top midsole coupled to the upper, a sole plate coupled to the top midsole, and a front midsole coupled to the top midsole. The sole plate is disposed between the toe end and the widest section of the sole structure. A rear midsole is coupled to the top midsole and the sole plate and disposed between the heel end and the narrowest section of the sole structure. An outsole is directly coupled to the front midsole and the rear midsole. A toe end of the outsole extends beyond a toe end of the front midsole, and the toe end of the front midsole extends beyond a toe end of the sole plate. The toe ends of the sole plate, the front midsole, and the outsole extend beyond a toe end of the top midsole.
