    Abstract: A method for internationalizing content of an electronic document, which may be mbodied on a computer readable medium, wherein the method includes the steps of ssociating a predefined parameter with content in a source web page to be translated, and inserting entries corresponding to translations of the content in the source web page into n indexable dictionary file. The method further includes application of a dictionary riven stylesheet to the source web page in order to retrieve a translation of a particular ext string from the indexable dictionary file.
