  • Publication number: 20200023127
Abstract: A networked patient care system includes an infusion pump communicatively coupled to a hospital network, a first server communicatively coupled to the infusion pump via the hospital network, and a second server communicatively coupled to the first server via a separate secure connection. The first server is configured to receive infusion pump data from the infusion pump and cause the second server to store the infusion pump data in an HL 7 format to an electronic patient medical record. The first server is also configured to receive a request from a display device to access the electronic patient medical record and cause the second server to convert the infusion pump data in the electronic patient medical record from the HL 7 format to a web-based format. The first server is further configured to transmit the infusion pump data in the web-based format to the display device.

  • Publication number: 20040172300
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for a clinician to obtain information wherein two user interface flows can be integrated together. One user interface flow originates from a validated computer and the other user interface flow originates from a non-validated computer wherein Web pages from the non-validated computer are routed into a conduit residing in the validated computer. Web pages that do not necessitate interaction with the validated computer are routed unmodified to a user terminal. Further, Web pages that do necessitate interaction are indicated as such by the non-validated computer wherein these pages are merged with information originating from the validated computer and then routed to the user terminal.
