Patent number: 11908017Abstract: Document creation systems and methods are provided for a potential risk relationship between an enterprise and an entity. A back-end application computer server may include a data collection engine to exchange information with a remote entity device associated with the entity. A bundle creation engine may receive the information about the entity and automatically and dynamically create a potential bundle of optional risk relationship components (each associated with an electronic file representing an optional risk relationship component document). A presentation engine may present information about the potential bundle and receive an indication of a selected subset of the potential bundle of optional risk relationship components. A final document construction engine may automatically construct, based on the selected subset and associated electronic files representing component documents, an electronic file representing a risk relationship package document to be transmitted to the remote entity device.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2021Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: HARTFORD FIRE INSURANCE COMPANYInventors: Kristin Elizabeth Atherton, Bruce D. Betancourt, Lauren Charlotte Elliott, Laura O'Connor Hanson, Barkley Scott Harris, M. Gary Letscher, Diana Reihl, Catherine M. Sommer

Patent number: 10699345Abstract: According to some embodiments, data associated with a plurality of potential insurance customers may be received and analyzed to identify a set of similar potential insurance customers. For the set of similar potential insurance customers, at least one customized insurance parameter may be automatically determined and a customized insurance product, including a customized insurance premium value, may be created based on the customized insurance parameter. It may then be arranged for each of the similar potential insurance customers to receive an indication of the customized insurance product.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2014Date of Patent: June 30, 2020Assignee: Hartford Fire Insurance CompanyInventors: Michael F Atwell, Laura O'Connor Hanson, Stephen M. Jones

Publication number: 20130066656Abstract: According to some embodiments, initial consumer information may be received from a remote consumer device associated with a potential consumer. For example, the potential consumer might provide his or her name and address via a web page. According to some embodiments, the initial consumer information does not include vehicle information. Responsive to the initial consumer information, supplemental information may be automatically requested from a third-party data source. The supplemental information, including vehicle information associated with the potential consumer, may then be received from the third-party data source. An automobile insurance premium may then be calculated for the potential consumer based at least in part on the supplemental information. At least one potentially binding insurance quote may then be transmitted to the remote consumer device based on the calculated automobile insurance premium.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2011Publication date: March 14, 2013Inventors: Laura O'Connor Hanson, Brian Michael Ignatowicz

Publication number: 20100100398Abstract: A system and method for providing online insurance quotes to a client on a social network web site includes an insurance server adapted to execute a coverage calculator application and an insurance database in communication with the insurance server for storing a plurality of personas, a plurality of insurance coverage options associated with each persona, and a price quote associated with each insurance coverage option. The system is in communication with a platform application on the social network web site. The platform application is in communication with a social network database for storing user content of the social network client. In one embodiment, the platform application uses an inference engine to query the user content of the social network client and return a set of inferred characteristics. The coverage calculator application selects a persona in response to the set of inferred characteristics and selects one of the insurance coverage options in response to the selected persona.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2008Publication date: April 22, 2010Applicant: Hartford Fire Insurance CompanyInventors: Jeffrey David Auker, Laura O'Connor Hanson
