The first ribbon bundle is then folded longitudinally. The first ribbon bundle is cut into defined lengths. The second ribbon bundle is cut unfolded into the defined lengths. The first and second ribbon bundles are combined with the first ribbon bundles being folded and the second ribbon bundles being unfolded. The second ribbon bundle is longitudinally folded over the first folded bundle after the combining step to form a sectioned tabloid newspaper. Tabloid printing presses are also provided.
